CIECA 2017 — Trondheim, Norway

We attended the CIECA annual congress in Trondheim, Norway — where representatives from around the world met to discuss ways to improve the quality of driver licensing, education services and road safety.

This year we demonstrated our hazard perception clips in a 360-degree virtual world — as if you were actually sitting in the car and could see everything around you. This was made possible by augmenting our CGI clips and using a VR headset and smartphone. Delegates were very enthusiastic about the technology, with general agreement that it has huge potential in a training environment where younger people are already accustomed to immersive digital experiences.
