Jellylearn, in conjunction with Nottingham Trent University, presented the results of a unique research project at the CIECA 50th Annual General Meeting in Belfast.
The presentation covered the potential benefits of combining the existing UK theory and hazard perception tests into a continuous journey, using a 10-minute CGI test clip developed by Jellylearn as a proof of concept. Theory questions and hazards were presented to the candidate randomly during the journey, based on urban road conditions. The results from the research programme, managed by Professor David Crundle, were very positive — indicating that this approach has real potential as a future model for road licensing training and testing.
