In conjunction with NTU as the lead on this project, Jellylearn has been awarded a grant from the Department for Transport (DfT), who were seeking proposals for an innovative technology solution to engage learner and young drivers and encourage them to develop their skills of recognising hazards in a variety of environments.
Our proposal included a continuous 10-minute clip, produced using 3D animation, that contains both theory questions and hazard perception in one single journey. This will be researched by Professor David Crundle at NTU in conjunction with the DVSA to establish the benefits of this new and innovative approach to driver assessment and training.
