Autosecurité: CGI Risk Awareness Testing in Wallonia, Belgium

Delivering CGI-based risk awareness test clips for Autosecurité's driver licensing programme across 11 test centres in Wallonia, with over 50,000 hazard perception tests conducted every year.

01

The Challenge

Autosecurité needed to deliver a rigorous risk awareness test as part of the driver licensing process in Wallonia, Belgium. The test had to evaluate direct observation (close, mid-range and distance vision) and indirect observation (mirror use), all grounded in the Goals for Driver Education (GDE) matrix. With 11 test centres and over 50,000 candidates per year, the content needed to be realistic, consistent, standardised and capable of supporting a precise scoring system — where each hazard is linked to a predefined invisible detection zone, and clicking outside that zone costs a click.

02

Our Solution

Jellylearn produced a series of high-quality CGI video clips for Autosecurité's risk awareness test. Candidates are presented with 5 video clips, each containing 0–3 hazards, totalling 10 hazards with a maximum of 10 clicks and a pass mark of 6/10. Autosecurité took a novel approach to clip creation, using the same hazard scenarios but setting them in different weather conditions — with appropriate amendments to suit each circumstance — maximising content diversity from a controlled production base.

Results

CGI clips deployed across 11 test centres throughout Wallonia
Over 50,000 hazard perception tests conducted annually using Jellylearn content
Novel approach: same hazard scenarios produced in multiple weather conditions for varied test delivery
Test evaluates GDE matrix skills — direct and indirect observation across close, mid-range and distance
Invisible detection zones embedded in clips for precise, standardised scoring
"Autosecurité works with Jellylearn to develop hazard perception clips for its hazard perception testing programme in Wallonia. Jellylearn produces high-quality CGI videos with a high level of realism, helping us create realistic, consistent and standardised driving scenarios for candidates. These videos support the regulatory requirements of our hazard perception testing programme."
