Compulsory Basic Training CGI Content for Motorcyclists
Replacing still photographs in TfL's Compulsory Basic Training for motorcyclists with annotated CGI clips focused on the unique hazards of London's road environment.
The Challenge
In 2020, Transport for London asked Jellylearn to replace the still photographs used in Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) for motorcyclists with animated CGI content. As the most vulnerable group of road users in the UK, motorcyclists needed richer, more realistic training materials — focused on the major hazards they face every day when riding in London's complex road environment.
Our Solution
Jellylearn worked with TfL's marketing team to produce new CGI content for the CBT, targeting the hazards most prevalent for motorcyclists on London's roads. Each clip was overlaid and annotated to enhance the training experience, embed learning and improve understanding of the specific risk scenarios motorcyclists encounter. The content replaced outdated still photographs with dynamic, realistic animated scenarios.
